Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Prep the Foil Boats
Line the inside of your slow cooker with aluminum foil, or create small individual “foil boats” for each pork chop to hold in all the juices during cooking.
-
Season the Pork Chops
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Rub both sides evenly with olive oil and coat generously with the Ranch seasoning mix.
-
Arrange & Top with Butter
Place the seasoned pork chops into the slow cooker or individual foil nests. Top each pork chop with pats of butter and a sprinkle of chopped fresh herbs.
-
Slow Cook to Perfection
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours (or HIGH for 2.5 to 3 hours) until the pork chops are tender and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
-
Rest and Serve
Spoon the flavorful butter and herb pan juices from the bottom of the foil directly over the pork chops before serving.
Pro-Tips for the Best Results
-
Don’t Overcook: Lean pork can turn tough if left on HIGH for too long. Stick to LOW heat for the juiciest texture.
-
Optional Sear: For a golden exterior, quickly sear the seasoned pork chops in a hot skillet with olive oil for 1–2 minutes per side before placing them in the slow cooker.
-
Delicious Pairings: Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted green beans, or buttery corn on the cob to soak up the leftover ranch butter gravy
