THE CRUST INGREDIENTS:
A yellow cake mix box.
1/2 Cup.Of unsalted butter, melted.
1 large egg.
THE FILLING INGREDIENTS:
8-oz.Of softened cream cheese.
2 large eggs.
1 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.
4 Cups.Of powdered sugar.
1/2 Cup.Of unsalted butter, melted.
PREPARATION:
1st Step:
Set your oven’s temperature according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
2nd Step:
Combine the egg, melted butter, and yellow cake mix in a mixing basin. Stir the ingredients until a soft dough forms.
3rd Step:
Create a nice and compact crust layer by pressing the dough onto the bottom of a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish in an even and uniform manner.
4th Step:
In a separate basin, whisk the cream cheese until velvety and smooth. Then whisk in the eggs and vanilla essence before adding them to the cream cheese.
5th Step:
Add the powdered sugar gradually while blending to get a lump-free, smooth filling. Add the melted butter and stir everything together until well combined.
6th Step:
Spread the cream cheese filling evenly with a spatula or the back of a spoon after adding it to the crust.
7th Step:
When the rims are golden brown and the center is set, place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
8th Step:
Take the dish out of the oven and wait until it has cooled down completely before cutting it into bars.
