THE INGREDIENTS LIST:
6 fresh corn ears (husks removed).
1/2 Cup.Of unsalted butter, melted.
2 Tbsp.Of Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste).
1 Tsp.Of garlic powder.
1 Tsp.Of paprika.
1/2 Tsp.Of cayenne pepper (adjust to taste).
Salt to taste.
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish).
Lime wedges (optional, for serving).
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
Large pot for boiling
Grill or stovetop griddle (optional)
Basting brush
Mixing bowl
PREPARATION:
1st Step
Fill a large pot with enough water to cover the ears of corn completely and set it over high heat. Bring the water to a boil, then sprinkle a little bit of salt into it.
2nd Step
After adding them carefully, let the corn ears simmer for approximately 5-7 minutes, or until they have reached the desired level of tenderness. After that, take the corn out of the water and let it finish draining.
3rd Step
Mix the melted butter, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and a bit of salt together in a bowl before adding the rest of the spices. You may control the amount of heat in the dish by adjusting the spice. Be sure that the butter has been properly infused with each of the spices before continuing.
4th Step
If you want the corn to have a smokey taste and a charred look, you may grill it after it has been boiled on a hot grill or griddle on top of the stove. This step is not required, but adding it will give the dish an additional dimension of taste.
5th Step
Coat each ear of corn with a large amount of the Cajun butter mixture that has been created by using a basting brush. Be sure that the corn is coated well all over.
6th Step
Place the Cajun Corn on the Cob in an attractive arrangement on a serving plate. To add a splash of color, you may garnish with freshly chopped parsley if you want. The dish should be served hot with lime wedges on the side for an additional jolt of tangy and zesty flavor.
