INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:
1 Pkg.Of instant vanilla pudding mix.
2 Cups.Of cold milk.
1 Cup.Of whipped cream or whipped topping.
1 Cup.Of mixed fruits (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or peaches), diced or sliced.
1 Cup.Of crushed graham crackers or cookie crumbs.
1/2 Cup.Of toasted chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans).
Chocolate sauce or caramel sauce (for drizzling).
DIRECTIONS:
1st Step
To make the pudding, whisk together the vanilla instant pudding mix and the cold milk in a large bowl. Pudding may be made smooth and thick by aggressively whisking it for approximately 2 minutes. Allow the bowl to chill in the fridge for approximately 5 minutes to somewhat solidify.
2nd Step
Once the pudding has hardened just a little, transfer it to individual serving dishes or glasses and begin piling the other ingredients on top. Put some of the pudding in the bottom of each serving dish. Use the back of a spoon or spatula to make it even.
3rd Step
To finish the pudding, spread a layer of mixed fruits on top. Pick from a rainbow of fruits for a more visually appealing and flavorful end result. The fruits may be cut into cubes or slices, as desired. Make sure each dish or drink has the same amount of fruit in it.
4th Step
Spoon some whipped cream or whipped topping over the fruit and spread it around so that it thoroughly covers the fruit. The dessert will taste even more decadent because of the smooth smoothness. You may purchase whipped topping from the shop, or beat some heavy cream and sugar until soft peaks form to create your own.
5th Step
Make the crunchy topping by scattering cookie or graham cracker crumbs over the whipped topping. The dessert will be much better with this added crunch. To add more flavor and texture to the crumbs, you may sprinkle on some roasted nuts.
6th Step
Drizzle with sauce (optional): Drizzle some chocolate or caramel sauce over top for an added indulgent touch. The sauce will enhance the dessert’s exquisite richness and aesthetic charm.
7th Step
Serve with a mint leaf draped over the rim of each bowl or glass. The refreshing green hue will be a welcome addition. The “Heaven Sits In A Bowl” dish is best served right away so that guests may experience all the different tastes and textures in each bite.
VARIATIONS AND TIPS:
Customize the fruits: Feel free to use your favorite fruits or the ones that are in season. Consider incorporating tropical fruits like mangoes or pineapple for a refreshing twist.
Experiment with different flavors: Instead of vanilla pudding, you can try using chocolate, butterscotch, or coconut pudding mix to create different flavor profiles.
Enhance the crunch: Add extra texture to the dessert by layering in some crushed toffee or caramel bits along with graham crackers or cookie crumbs.
Make it a make-ahead dessert: This dessert can be prepared in advance and refrigerated until serving time. Just be sure to add the crunchy toppings and garnish right before serving to maintain their texture.
