Melt-in-Your-Mouth Butter-Drenched Biscuits

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a medium bowl until well combined.

  3. Stir in the buttermilk until you get a soft, sticky dough.

  4. Melt the butter in the microwave and pour it into a square baking dish (8×8 or 9×9 inches). Be sure your dish is deep enough to handle bubbling butter.

  5. Spoon the dough into the pan, directly over the melted butter. Gently spread it to the edges using a spatula, letting the dough absorb the butter as it goes.

  6. Score the dough into 9 squares using a knife—this helps separate the biscuits once baked.

  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden and crisp.

  8. Serve warm, paired with jam, honey, or your favorite savory spread. These biscuits are fantastic any time of day!
