MINIATURE PEACH COBBLER: A DELIGHTFUL BITE OF SWEETNESS

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

FOR THE FILLING, I USED:

– 2 cups fresh or canned peaches, sliced (peeled and pitted, if using fresh).

– 1/4 Cup.Of granulated sugar.

– 1 Tbsp.Of all-purpose flour.

– 1/2 Tsp.Of ground cinnamon.

– 1/4 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.

FOR THE CRUST, YOU’LL NEED:

– 1 Cup.Of all-purpose flour.

– 1/4 Cup.Of granulated sugar.

– 1 1/2 Tsp.Of baking powder.

– 1/4 Tsp.Of salt.

– 1/4 Cup.Of unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces

– 1/4 Cup.Of milk.

FOR THE TOPPING, I USED:

– 1 Tbsp.Of unsalted butter, melted.

– 1 Tbsp.Of granulated sugar.

– 1/2 Tsp.Of ground cinnamon.

PREPARATION:

1. Set the oven’s temperature to 375°F (190°C). For easy removal, grease or line a muffin pan with paper liners.

2. Combine the sliced peaches, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla essence in a bowl. Toss the mixture gently until the peaches are well covered. While you make the crust, set it aside and let the flavors mingle.

3. To make the crust, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt in a separate basin. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to incorporate the cooled butter pieces into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4. After adding the milk, whisk the mixture until it comes together. It ought to be a little bit sticky but workable.

5. Separate the dough into six equal pieces. One piece should be used to create a miniature pie crust by pressing it into the bottom and slightly up the sides of each muffin cup.

6. Fill each prepared crust to the brim with the peach filling. Make careful to fill each cup to the same level.

7. To make the topping, mix the melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a small basin. Stir well to combine. Each little peach cobbler should have a small bit of the mixture drizzled over it.

8. After getting the oven ready, put the muffin tray inside and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the filling is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.

9. Take the small peach cobblers out of the oven, and then give them a few minutes to cool in the muffin tray. At room temperature or heated, serve.

10. For an added treat, you may top the dish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
