Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your favorite)

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Step-by-Step Method

Step 1: Cook the Pasta and Broccoli

Boil the pasta in salted water according to package directions.
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the same pot.
Drain and set aside.
