The Correct Boiling Time: Stop Counting in Hours

Fill a large pot with enough water to fully submerge your shucked ears of corn. Bring the water to a roaring, aggressive boil. Crucial Rule: Do NOT add salt to the water. Salt toughens the delicate skin of modern corn kernels as they cook.
