4-Ingredient Oven Baked Tuna Noodles

How to Make It

1
Boil the noodles
10 minutes

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions, but stop 1 to 2 minutes early (al dente). They will finish cooking and absorb the sauce in the oven. Drain well.

2
Mix the filling
5 minutes

In a medium mixing bowl (or directly in your 2-quart baking dish to save on dishes!), stir together the undiluted cream of mushroom soup, drained flaked tuna, and cooked noodles. Tip: If the mixture feels a little too thick, stir in 1/4 to 1/2 cup of milk or water to loosen it up.

3
Add the crunch
2 minutes

Spread the noodle mixture evenly into your baking dish. Crush a generous cup of potato chips in their bag, then scatter them evenly over the top of the noodles.

4
Bake until bubbly
20 minutes

Bake uncovered for 18 to 20 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when the sauce is bubbling up along the sides of the dish and the potato chip crust has turned a gorgeous, deep golden brown. Serve hot!

The Veggie Upgrade: If you want to sneak some green into this dish without adding a fifth ingredient, stir in a half-cup of frozen peas directly into the mixture before baking. They thaw and steam beautifully right in the oven!
