Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
Lasagna noodles
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 tsp grated parmesan
Instructions:
Brown and drain the ground meat.
Pour 1 cup of spaghetti sauce into the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker.
Stir in the remaining beef sauce.
Place 2 uncooked lasagna sheets on the sauce in the slow cooker.
Spread one-third of the meat mixture over the noodles.
Spread 3/4 cup of cottage cheese on the meat.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese on top of the cottage cheese.
Add another layer of uncooked noodles, one-third of the remaining meat, and the cheese mixture, along with 1/2 cup of mozzarella.
Repeat the process for an additional layer of uncooked noodles, meat mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
Sprinkle with parmesan.
Simmer for 4 hours. If the cook time were longer, the cheese would be slightly better cooked.
Enjoy!
