PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

 

Ingredients:

Half a cup of butter.

Half a cup of peanut butter.

Half a cup of granulated sugar.

Half a cup of brown sugar.

1 egg.

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

1 1/4 cups of sifted flour.

3/4 tsp. of baking soda.

1/4 teaspoon of salt.

Instructions:

Step 1

To begin, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), then, combine the first six ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Step 2

After combining the first six ingredients, proceed to add the remaining ingredients to the mixture, then mix very well till all of the elements are properly incorporated.

Step 3

Shape the dough into balls and press them with a sugar or flour-dipped fork.

Step 4

Place the baking sheet with the cookie dough into the preheated oven and bake for approximately 12 to 15 minutes. Keep an eye on them and remove them from the oven when they are lightly browned.

Step 5

Once out of the oven, let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes. This allows them to firm up a bit before transferring them to a cooling rack. Afterward, allow the cookies to cool completely on the rack.
